Colin and Lydia do the double act at the Armed Forces Day

  Posted July 2, 2019

Our dynamic duo were invited to join two separate Armed Forces Days and despite the temperature reaching 33 degrees C, they melted in with the crowd and were able to advise Veterans and other charitable organisations on how UKVHH can help Veterans who suffered from a hearing loss due to military Service.

There first point of call was the Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes AFD in Wycombe Air Park where an estimated 10,000 joined in with the celebrations on 20th June 2019.  One of the biggest in the country with all the fun of the fair and much much more including some exciting air displays to enthral our military personnel, families and Veterans.

A great opportunity to meet several large organisations who were extremely keen to utilities the first class facilities offered by UKVHH.  Despite the heat, a great day for both Colin and Lydia acting in their ambassador role for UKVHH, and one that will ensure that many more Veterans are afforded the first class treatment, second to none in a growing and important facility for those who served.

Onward to their second location in Maldon, Essex who were holding their Armed Forces Day on 30th June 2019.  This was a totally different affair and open to the general public who had the opportunity of seeing the military presence as well as charitable organisations such as UKVHH.

Once again, undeterred by the warm weather, Colin and Lydia met many Veterans from all three Armed Services and were able to direct them on the journey of a much higher standard of life.  Once again they were able to meet other organisations who were there to assist Veterans and, who were not aware of the facilities we offered and how UKVHH could help support their Veterans with hearing assistance.
